I can't listen to this album anymore. It's painfully repetitive.

I only listen to the opening track for giggles and the title track because it's actually pretty awesome.

Yeah I never even ended up buying an album by them because I got sick of hearing their songs on pandora and last.fm really fast. This Message Edited On 08.14.07

Vital Remains should never write a song longer than 5 minutes.

Some of the songs don't drag too badly on the album.

Title track and Scorned are really the only good tracks on here.

A good example here of what turns me off bands like Behemoth, despite the metal being ridiculously good the vocals sound too forced and over the top...

the leads on the title track are well worked

Dechristianize is much better than this, and this bands attempt to be ultra heavy just bores me.

Bah you guys are just pussies and can't handle the sumpreme power of Vital Remains. Great album. Icons of Evil, Scorned, and In Infamy are some of the heaviest and most brutal Vital Remains songs to come, however overall I think Dechristianize was a better album.

bahahaha, "the supreme power" of a band that's so powerful they have to play everything twice.
Dechristianize was okay, this is just bad.

The album would get a 4 if it was about 10 minutes long.

I think for a brutal death metal act they can play their instruments quite well...

Most good brutal death acts can play their instruments well but that doesn't mean shit if they don't do anything creative with them. Needless to say aside from some guitar lines here and there Vital Remains bores me.
