Wizard I can guarantee that its worth the wait, its soooo good. Makes me think that DT really cant put out a bad album even if they tried.

Digging: Drudkh - Blood In Our Wells

What amazes me is that they actually get better with time. In Flames is still my favorite, but Character and this destroy post-Clayman. Best DT yet, except maybe the Gallery (older, but awesome). The good thing about this one is that I could get into it right away. The Gallery was a little more progressive.

Not really. In Flames is my favorite band but The Gallery is superior to Clayman even if I like it. DT and In Flames are 2 great band. but DT now>>>>>>>>>InFlames now.

Wow, this is some crazy debate but Im going to have to say that Clayman is one of my all time favourite albums. Character and the one song I heard from Fiction are amazing, but Clayman just has the essense of a band who really found their sound at the time. But Dark Tranquility has consistency and hasnt really progressed too fast (if it aint broke, dont fix it)..................fuck now Im just on the fence with this one.

Dark Tran > In Flames imo, even though i've know in flames much longer.

I think this and character are better than every album by In Flames, except maybe
colony. In Fact, i'll do my best to list every dt and if album in order from my fav to
least fav. Ones not included i don't own.

Yeah, i only own 5 Dark tran so far, and 7 IF. Other than the last three on those 12
albums, each of them are amazing, and very close together. Dark Tanquillity and In

All you left out were lunar strain by IF and Minds I by DT, but both aren't spectacular (i havent heard minds i but the so ngs i;ve heard from it sem lackluster compared to most DT)

Left out Lunar Strain and Subterranean cuz they had Mikael on vocals, and I don't have the Minds I so it would be wrong to judge it.

hmm... i've heard that this band sounds like Opeth? if they do i might check them out.

I like Opeth for their melodic guitar riffs... wonder if DT is like that as well.

I will give my favourite list when I hear Fiction!

Shattered_Future, give the album a chance. It's not supposed to sink in right away. Misery's Crown is just meant to be melodic and really dreamy, at least that's the way I hear it. To call the track "lame" is going a bit far (you do have a Kamelot avatar :p)
