This CD maybe cheesy as fuck but I think it's all the better for it. I find that the worst tracks here are the ones that take themselves in a really "edgy", try hard, or generally dry serious direction. The exceptions being In This Twilight, Zero-Sum, and Capitol G, that one is just great fun.

Album flows incredibly well, everything seems like a hit. One of the easiest albums to sit down and listen to all the way through.

I don't have anything to add that you haven't already said but yeah this flows crazy well.

The CD and the booklet is awesome. Love how the CD is initially black but after playing it, the heat makes it turn white and reveals some cool designs on it. Highly recommend physically buying it

Been over a week since I last played it, I'm surprised it hasn't returned to being completely black. Only other album I have with a CD like (let alone heard of one like) this is the deluxe edition of Marilyn Manson's The Pale Emperor and it returns back to black after a few minutes

Edit: holy shit it's almost back to white since I finished posting this, maybe it's more sensitive to (the hot Cali) temperature

This is his best one too, less angst, more story-based, and probably his catchiest.

it would be his catchiest if it wasn't for the numerous extended (well, for a pop song) glitch jams

Honestly, I sometimes wish more NIN was like Year Zero, this is a career highpoint in my opinion.

I don't like Downward Spiral very much.

yeah and that's his best for me but it probably just resonates with me as an emo edgelord

Downward Spiral is my 2nd favorite, but it is a little edgy/angsty in an annoying way at times.

Then against so is literally everything by him except this and Ghosts lol

I don't find it THAT annoying, it's just that the middle is so lackluster and even sucky for some songs that I just don't care about it.
