Just the nature of Opeth threads Jac ;). Widowpane, Hope Leaves and To Rid The Disease are my favourites from this. The former two are amazing especially.

An Opeth album of this style could/should have been so much better imo.

I'm curious JT. Did you always have issues with this one, or did it grow off you?

Also, were any 'Peth albums growers for you?

I used to like this more when I was a lot younger (it was a nice change of pace back then) but since then it's grown off me and I just find it really boring with a couple of rather annoying moments. It does have some memorable melodies but even those are too infrequent.

I dunno really, I think Morningrise and Orchid were growers but it was a long time ago when I first got into Opeth so it's hard to remember exactly.
