"versions is very zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz"

People who think versions is "zzz" clearly just didn't care for any experimentation within the band or genre in general. That album is anything but zzz. Nagaina is probably one of the best tracks they've ever released, and the two leading up to it are more or less as urgent and hard hitting as any of their other album openers. Not to mention that the album finishing off tremendously with a couple of slow burners. Versions was mature beyond most of the band's at-the-time teenage audience, and definitely pushed them to the forefront of being one of those metal/hardcore bands that were ahead of their time.

Calling it "zzz" is, in my opinion, ignorant.

versions is a pretty enjoyable album tbh, may not have as many memorable moments as this but its still solid

the trio of this --> tropical rot is all-in-all a great musical collection. cannot agree that versions is a boring album. it has some great moments and holds together great even though they're experimenting.

Exactly, nothing this band has done was ever boring imo. Maybe slightly not as good as others but even their weakest albums are filled with great moments.

Agreed. I was never a big fan of Versions but it was still solid and a fun listen, just overshadowed by the rest of their discography.

I think most people overlooked it because it wasn't YCBY2, or OoD2. It is, however, probably one of the most original things they've done.

Man I hope these guys release something new, at any given point in the future. I was broken up when they went on hiatus.

Wish bands in this genre would realize this is how cleans should sound. Not that whiny overproduced melo bullshit

"Jesus christ man maybe some people just found it boring, get over it"

This was suprisingly enjoyable. After listening to Opposite of December and Tropic Rot, both of which impressed me greatly, this is probably my favorite album so far. It has the best balance of post-hardcore and metalcore of the albums ive heard so far, which I find super interesting.
