their breakdown consisted of one chord with a measure pause between that stretched for 2 minutes.
there is one of their songs that is like that on thier first album, the breakdowns on this album are a bit more complex, listen to the interlude song and tell me if you can find a beat

not sure why everyone complains about the breakdowns on this cd. its by far their biggest flaw, but it also helps separate them from the spawn of possessions and necrophagists out there. maybe its not the best way, but its something a little different.

yeah i kinda meant they have one song like that. didn't mean it to sound like i was saying "all" their breakdowns are like that.

Their new cd leaked. I downloaded it today and I've listened to about 3/4's of it and it's wayyyyyyy better than this. And actually less breakdowns from what I've heard so far. So download it, buy if you love it I guess. They put on a pretty good show as well (I saw them with Necrophagist, Dying Fetus, Into Eternity, Veil of Maya, and a local band called Super Happy Story Land Time lol).

ive only heard this album from BtM, but i just saw them last night and they were flippin awesome. the breakdowns from their older cd were alot more "crushing" and the crowd went simply nuts.

Reason the drummer sounds fast --> Triggered, gravity blast beats and production of the album so that it feels like one giant wall.
Kickass band though, really love them. This Message Edited On 02.04.09

On a sidenote, I listened to the songs again, and the drummer barely reaches the 240 bpm, which isn't much of a rarity.

Pretty uncatchy with the exception of one song.
Way overdone everything sounds the same..

Saw these guys last night and they were great, really impressive to see them pull these songs off live. I do enjoy this album but it does get a bit repetitive, meaning I can only listen to it once in a blue moon. Havn't really bothered with Dystopia yet, even though I've had it on my computer for quite some time. I actually think the breakdowns are pretty well done and gives them a bit more of an edge.
