He really isnt; he just sits there and plays something on a projection screen. It's also really loud and hurts your ears. I enjoyed his performance overall because the music was beautiful but he has no idea how to put on a live show.

the sound must have been off for yours or something cause my ears weren't hurting and no one else complained of noise

and i dont know what else youd expect him to do..

The venue I went to was small so that may have had something to do with the intense noise. It was louder than a punk show. Maybe he could mix it up live, with different videos. I was watching the same damn birds flying around for an hour. Maybe he could put cameras and show the audience what he's doing instead of sitting behind a speaker. Maybe he could have more effects than just shooting air out of a cannon at the back of the stage. Maybe.

The majority of Indie fans are content with anything on stage anyway as they don't care beyond bragging about how they were in attendance on their blog.

Great review, I just got this and will be listening to it in short order. From what I can tell, I will really, really enjoy it, especially since I was having a good time back when this dude got a Listening Party. Lookin' forward to having my mind blown.

I'm listening to this right now, and as slow and simple as it all seems, it's unbelievably pretty. Oh man. F'real.

This is such a great listen. There's just so much variety here yet the album feels so cohesive.

Don't know why everyone likes this so much, An Accidental Memory is his best.
