but in MY opinion, it's not a classic album. maybe an... excellent album. or a great album. not superb, and definitely not classic.
I like though. it's a quite amazing thing that these sellout losers actually makes this good music. though the guitar harmonies let me a bit down on this album. not Ray's lead. just the harmonies (or lack of such). Three Cheers was harmonywise a better album. Bullets was a more... respectable (indie) effort. but this definitely ain't no bad album.

this is actually a pretty bad album

they're just being to pretentious, but everything they do here is to try to hide their pop-punk sound using some piano and horns and concepts just to sound big, but they only achieve to sound like a poor rip-off of bands like Queen. in fact, the first track is a very obvious copy and paste from pink floyd's in the flesh.

moreover, the interviews to gerard i've read show that this guy loves himself too much and knows nothing. he said, for example, something like"how many bands do you know nowadays that, like US, are able to break molds and touch people? not a lot, i can only think of Muse." that's so fuckingly stupid...it's almost DeLonge-ish. i don't know what the hell people see in this band. and no, i'm not one of those who hate bands under the label "emo", i actually ignore labels because they only lead to confusions and hate. i think this band is bad for what it is.
