Say what you like about Winehouse's narcotic and alcohol-related antics, this album is a pure joy. I'm glad it's really popular here, makes a change from the masses consuming tripe like usual. Stay alive Amy, keep taking the number ones off crappy dance bands.
Has her music caught on in America? Or just her behaviour?

I think it's a shame that Amys behaviour get's more of a look in than her music. I do think she is an amazingly talented vocalist. I find her voice incredible, it's so soulful and it doesn't lack any sincerity at all. It makes a change to actually have a talented singer in the charts. I think Amy Winehouse is one of the best talents to come out of the U.K in years.

This review didn't do the album any justice. People, listen to the album for yourself because it's damn good.
I hate it when people constantly talk about an artist's personal life like they know them personally. You don't. So, stop souring the music.
I give the album 5 stars. It's classic and people will still be talking about this album 20 years later. You bet.

I liked your review, though I have to agree with the above and admit to skipping the first two because I didn't see the relevance.
But anyway, 'You Know I'm No Good' & 'Back to Black' are my two favourite and that said, the whole album is pretty great in my opinion.
