^lol

But I'm Irish and I do like U2,but they're not very good at all.IMO every band signed to a major label is overrated to some extent, but there are some who can actually make good music that deserves the recognition that it gets, case in point Iron maiden.

I very much agree, first time I heard Invaders I was ready to stop listening right there. The rest of the album is in-between average and above average in my books.

Agree very much with the review. I find this album to be pretty damn overrated. It's good overall, but Invaders and Gangland are just awful, 22 Acacia Avenue would be the worst song on just about every other classic Maiden album (except maybe POM), and Hallowed Be Thy Name is so unbelievably overrated, it's almost funny. Pretty decent song, but by no means the classic everyone makes it out to be.

In my humble opinion, of course. At least Prisoner kicks ass.

"iron maiden haven't made a great album since di'anno died or whatever happened to him"

Am I the only one who isn't too fond of the Di'anno era?

I agree with teh album being generally over-rated, but because of the title track and Run To The Hills, not Hallowed (WHY OH GOD WHY WOULD YOU EVEN SAY HALLOWED ISN'T CURE FOR CANCER ITSELF?)

Di'Anno-era Maiden was brilliant, particularly Killers. And this album isn't one bit overrated

if anything powerslave is the one with 2 awesome songs and the rest not living up to par. This pretty much owns all the way through.
