I'll tell you why they are a big deal. Howard Jones that's what.

To be perfectly honest, I don't think Howard Jones is that big of a deal. Don't get me wrong, his voice is great and suits the music perfectly, but they'd be just as good without him. Look at their stuff with Jesse Leach. That's some great material and a lot of it is better than the stuff off TEOH.

I think he's incredible with both clean and harsh vocals. I don't think they would be the same without him and they are better off with him.

They both had their ups and downs. Personally, I like Jesse's lyrics a lot better.

This sounds like End of Heartache but is even worse, and Jesse is more proficient than Howard, but I think you did a pretty good job with the review and I agree that this is really average.

Well my copy came with an extra disk with a few live songs off of the STWA DVD, but I have that so it didn't really matter.

Uhh, no, it was just a little on the short side and lacking some detail.

This isn't average at all, It's probably cause people expect too much from these guys since they kinda are the kings of metalcore. Which is the reason it sounds "bad". It's actually a very good album, not quite as good as their previous work but i think it's almost impossible to top their 2 last albums. Not only that, they tried to change their sound a bit not to sound like a "the end of heartache part 2".

Because this is more bland, and the fact that I grew out of this proves that. This used to be my favorite album, but it doesn't really stand the test of time, and I try not to overrate things. Sorry, but the choruses aren't as good as they used to be, and the transition from verse to chorus to bridge etc aren't at their best.

This album is pretty bad. I gave it 2 spins before I decided this was TeoH part 2. It's a shame they can't think of anything new, this is just boring, average, mainstream metalcore. This Message Edited On 07.19.07
