Good review, long though. Jesus Christ and Limousine are the best songs in my opinion.

While I love this album, and am fully convinced that I could listen to 'Jesus Christ' a million times and never grow tired of it, I can't bring myself to give TDAGARIM a 5. I'm firmly planted right around 4. The lyrics as a whole, just seem to leave a little to be desired, but then again, many people, including myself, see Jesse as a lyrical god of sorts and some moments in this album don't quite befit that stature.

From the moment I got my hands on the album I have viewed it as a concept album, be that correct or incorrect, and from that I am fully prepared to say that musically the album is perfect... especially for the concept.

Anyway, pretty solid review. Great album, but not a 5.

remember when brand new sold out?
i do
dont get me wrong i love the new album; ive lost some friends and i especially lost some to pills
i cant remember the last show i saw j sing his heart out and it goes to show that all his music given great at times is half hearted and not for himself or the fans yet entitled to the fans which i think is fucking shit
you dont owe us anything j
got it
we made you and your so called inspiration through vocals is derived by us..the fan you fuck so by all means sit at home and complain..go to a show half hearted when you play and not mean it when yuou sing it and leave early so you can do what the fuck ever it is you do when you are ignoring every kid out there that wants to let go...end it tonight and doesnt because of your music and lyrics. have you forgotten the reason you took this gig? cause if you did man there are alot of innocent kids with no direction that will end a lot of lives so owe that one through the windshield..COWARD

so let me get this straight

the singer from brand new had kind of a bad show
and didnt stick around to sign your shoes or whatnot

so you decide to call him a coward and a sell out?

Thats funny, Jesse signed my friend's shoes a few years back, among many other things. Don't call a man a sell out because he didn't satisfy your groupie needs.

I'm actually trying to get my review up, I had a mishap on my computer last week, didn't save my work, and I just got motivated on writing it again.

The major problem is that my opinions change with every listen.

I loved Not the Sun, but my friends didn't dig the almost britpop feel as much as I did. Lucas does have some badass lyrics, along with Jesus Christ.

This review would be better if you sorted out your there/they're/their and your were/where. Also it could be a lot shorter and still say the same thing.

I know almost nothing about Brand New, but I find it hard to believe that this is anything but a good album. Classic status is bandied around too much on this site, methinks.

Extremely subdued espescially considering their past, but they've lost some of their catchiness

Is it just me? or does this album stray a bit away fromt the "Pop Punk" genre they're put into? I think this album sounds a lot more Rock than Pop Punk. Yea I love Milestone, (my fav.), A good point someone made was all the songs start off slow, it tends to get a bit repetitive and boring, other than that a major improvement from their previous album
