Despite having Leslie's thick chunky distinguished guitar tone, "Soundcheck" is at best a mediocre album judging by the man's standards. Almost nothing stands out from this album and is a far cry from his previous release which I enjoyed immensely. Recommended songs: "Here for the Party" and "Empty Promises/Nothing Sacred".
